My 2024 Word of the Year

Have you ever picked a word to focus on each year?

Instead of making resolutions, I choose a word that sums up who I want to be or how I want to live.  I have participated in this One Word Challenge for ten years now.

This year, my word for 2024 is Enough.

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I feel like I am not enough. I don’t have enough time, wisdom, energy and resources to accomplish what God has asked me to.

But recently, God has been reminding me-He is ENOUGH!

Friend, God is Enough! Maybe you need to hear this message too!

We don’t need to rely on our own strength or our own resources. We just need to be faithful and God will be fruitful!

We just need to remember with God on our side, we are enough!

I need this message daily, so I am spending all of 2024 focusing on it!

Also, my family has picked a word this year- it is Transition!

As you may have heard, I am getting married, so my 2024 will be full of transitions and changes!

I pray for God’s wisdom and guidance through each transition for myself, my husband, and my kids!

Do you have a word for 2024?

If not, I want to encourage you to choose a word for next year. Where does God want you to focus?

I would love to hear your word and why you chose it, so please share in the comments below.

Love, Jodi
