In Awe of God!

In Awe of God, 2018!

I will never forget these past 10 days!  God has provided some exciting opportunities for me!

I just got back from an amazing writing conference with Proverbs 31 ministries called She Speaks. The weekend before the conference, I had the privilege to speak on a panel with Pastor Rick Warren at all 4 services at Saddleback Church. With other moms who are teachers, we discussed “How to Raise a Remarkable Child.”   I daily wrote in my journal, “I am in awe of God again!”  In fact, I am going to make a sign for my house that reads, “In Awe of God, 2018.”

Flying to the conference alone as well as stepping out on a stage with thousands watching was definitely out of my comfort zone.   Excited and nervous, I took a step of faith trusting that this is what God had asked me to do.

• Is God asking you to step out of your comfort zone?
• Is there an opportunity to lead a small group or attend a Bible Study?
• Is God asking you to mentor a younger student or calling you to serve together as a family?
• Is there an opportunity in front of you that you know is your next move but stepping out of your comfort zone feels scary?

Trust me I completely understand!   Sometimes we don’t feel like we are qualified or ready for the God-sized dreams in front of us. I believe God just needs a willing heart that says, “Yes, God! Use me.” He takes care of the rest!

Friends, God wants to use you!

He specializes in using ordinary people like you and me to do extraordinary things! God has designed each of us with unique gifts that perfectly shape us for His purpose in our life.   This is exciting news! He can use you and your story, both your triumphs and your trials. He can use it all!  Are you willing to take a leap of faith?
