God Specializes in Redemption!
Is something in your life broken? Maybe you have a broken heart and are grieving the loss of a loved one. Perhaps you are in the middle of a broken relationship; a family member has betrayed your trust. Or you struggle with a broken body, living each day with chronic pain. Sometimes our minds are broken, and we fight hourly to remember what just happened.
Brokenness can easily lead to Hopelessness.
With Christmas just less than one week away, let me encourage you today. No matter if your brokenness is emotional, relational, physical or spiritual, God has a purpose for your pain. God wants to redeem it and use it to help others. He wants your story to be shared and point others back to Jesus.
I truly believe that God Specializes in Redemption!
I was walking through the Hobby Lobby store this week and I came across this beautiful artwork with these words: “God can restore what is broken and change it into something amazing. All you need is Faith.”
This quote spoke to me! It reminded me that God never wastes a hurt. As we fully surrender to Him, He takes our broken lives and begins to change us from the inside out. As we depend completely on Him for strength and grace, He starts to chisel and refine us into something amazing and more beautiful than before.
Just like the quote says, “All you need is Faith.” God wants your faith journey to encourage others in their faith walk. This is such an important and integral piece in God’s plan of redemption.
Your story of God’s faithfulness is exactly what someone else needs to hear today so they can see hope in the middle of their brokenness.
I would love to share with you my life verse: 2 Corinthians 1:4, “He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.”
God never wastes one tear. Instead God takes our stories of brokenness and turns them into stories of redemption to encourage others along in their faith.
I purchased that beautiful sign from Hobby Lobby, and it now hangs right next to my front door as a reminder that God restores and redeems. Praying this encourages you today. Remember this is not the end, but just the beginning of God’s story of redemption!
