Exciting News About How God Redeemed My Broken Story
As I look at this picture, I am once again in awe of God.
He had a beautiful redemptive plan all along, I just had to trust His timing!
For me, my journey was ten years. A decade of God growing me as a single mom. Refining my character to be more empathetic and compassionate. Teaching me important lessons that He wanted to me share with others.
A ministry was birthed during those purposeful years. A blog. A podcast. A book.
I would have never thought God could redeem all the pain in such a beautiful way, but He did.
This summer, God added another layer of redemption to my broken story.
He brought an amazing Christian man into my life. A man I have prayed for many times these last couple years.
As I launched my first son, I realized just how hard it is to enter the empty nest years alone. With one in college and one in high school, my mom role began to change.
The loud house with young kids was now very quiet.
I knew in my heart it was time to put my heart back out there!
To be completely honest, this idea brought up lots of fear and uncertainty. I had done a 40 day prayer over my book the year before, so I decided to do it again this year over dating and meeting my future husband.
I prayed for a man with depth of faith. God answered my prayer with David!
I am excited to introduce you to David, my fiancé!
Like I said at the beginning, I am in awe of God!
He never wastes our pain, but redeems all our tears in a way beyond what we can hope or imagine!
This week on the Depth Podcast, David and I share about God’s faithfulness in our relationship! I hope you will listen and be encouraged, especially if you are walking through a hard season. I believe our conversation will remind you that God sees you even in your deepest heartbreak!
He has not forgotten you, and He is faithful to redeem your broken story in His perfect timing.
Love, Jodi
