Depth Podcast Episode 55: Be Still Devotional — Sarah Westfall
Listen now:
Have you ever looked at the circumstances of your life and said, “This is Not My Story- this is not the narrative I would have written for my life?” I know that I have.
This week on the podcast, Sarah Westfall, shares her personal “Not My Story” with us. As she vulnerably shares about the loss of her son, Sarah describes how God met her in the middle of the grief. She wanted to quickly move past the pain, but instead God spoke in her heart and said “Be Still. Stay. Rest in Me.” This moment in time birthed a devotional called *Be Still: Leaning into God when Everything is Falling Apart. Sarah invited other writers to join her, and I love that God is the consistent thread that runs through all the devotionals.
Sarah is the host of the Not My Story Podcast as she invites others to share their unexpected story and how God showed up in the middle of the grief. If you are walking through the Unexpected, Sarah wrote an ebook called Interrupted just for you. We talk about it on the podcast and you can download it on her website: https://www.sarahewestfall.com
I promise you do not want to miss what Sarah shares this week.
